2. Scope

This statement applies to the website maschinenschrift.com and all subpages. It does not apply to externally linked content (e.g., iovargas.com).

3. Hosting

The site is served statically by Cloudflare Pages, operated by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you load a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address, the requested URL, the HTTP method, the User-Agent and the Referer header to deliver the content and to defend against abuse. Cloudflare does not set cookies for the delivery of this site, and no tracking takes place.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR — legitimate interest in stable, available and abuse-resistant content delivery. Retention period: Cloudflare aggregates request data; individual log entries are kept for security analysis and then deleted, following Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Third-country transfer: Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the USA. The transfer rests on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and on Cloudflare’s certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023).

4. Source-code repository

The site’s source code lives in a public repository hosted by GitHub, Inc. (88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Visitors of maschinenschrift.com do not interact with GitHub directly; the rendered site is delivered solely via Cloudflare Pages (§ 3). GitHub only processes contributor data on push (account name, email if set, commit metadata), not visitor data.

Third-country transfer: GitHub, Inc. is based in the USA. The transfer rests on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and on GitHub’s certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Details in the GitHub privacy statement.

5. Email handling

Mail to contact [at] maschinenschrift [dot] com is received by the mail provider Mailbox.org (Heinlein Support GmbH, Berlin) and stored in a mailbox of the controller. Mailbox.org operates from Germany — no third-country transfer. A data-processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place. Content is processed manually; automated storage in a database does not occur.

6. No cookies, no trackers, no third-party fonts

The site sets no cookies, no Local Storage entries, no tracking. No fonts or scripts are loaded from third parties.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), correction (Art. 16 GDPR), deletion (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). Requests to contact [at] maschinenschrift [dot] com.
